IHI RH-series turbochargers, such as the RH133 and RH143, are fitted to many generator and small propulsion engines. When performance drops or vibration rises, the first decision is the scope of repair.
Individual parts
Bearings, seal rings, thrust parts and gaskets are the routine items. If the turbine and compressor wheels are in good condition, replacing these parts restores the unit at the lowest cost.
Rotor or cartridge assembly
If blades are damaged, the shaft is scored or the unit has run with poor lubrication, a complete rotor or cartridge can be the faster and more reliable option, and it shortens the time the engine is out of service.
In both cases, quote the turbocharger model and serial number, not only the engine model. We can offer genuine, OEM and quality-alternative options, including complete units where that is the better answer.
